>KeylessRide Required Monitoring that Could Work with Windows Azure Virtual Machine Instances & Send Alerts Via SMS & E-mail
As Microsoft does not yet provide a 24/7 alert service, our main challenge was to try and find a reliable alert monitoring software that could work with Windows Azure Virtual Machine Instances (IAAS) and send alerts via SMS and e-mail to smart phones. PA Server Monitor has a very comfortable feel. Once it's up and running, it feels solid. Additionally, there are many services that can be monitored, which has been beneficial to our company.
“ We have a better confidence level, knowing that if we lose a function of a VM that is critical to us, we will be alerted in a timely manner and can resolve problems in an expeditious manner 24/7/365. It's certainly nicer to go to sleep at night knowing that if there is a problem that occurs, our support staff will be alerted and we can quickly find where the failure is and how to potentially find a quick resolution. ”

Yes. As we were new with Azure, and we chose to go with IAAS to support a new product launch, we searched for a product that could monitor various aspects of the Virtual Machines (VMs), URL monitoring, and could send SMS and e-mail alerts, and have a smart phone app for viewing the current status of the VMs.
Peace of mind. It's certainly nicer to go to sleep at night knowing that if there is a problem that occurs, our support staff will be alerted and we can quickly find where the failure is and how to potentially find a quick resolution.
PA Server Monitor has a very comfortable feel. Once it's up and running, it feels solid. Additionally, there are many services that can be monitored, which has been beneficial to our company. While there were some steep learning curves with integrating PA Server Monitor with Azure, the support staff at Power Admin was very friendly and offered very quick responses to the questions we asked.

PA Server Monitor allows us to use a set number of VM's that meets the needs of our customers. Since Azure charges for usage and space, using PA Server Monitor allows us to optimize the number of VMs we have in production. If there is a failure, we are alerted in a timely manner, and can bring another VM online to replace the failed unit and continue to have the redundancy to provide our customers with quality service.
Yes, I would recommend PA Server Monitor. It's comfortable user interface, smart phone app, number of online documents to walk you through configuration, and friendly support staff make PA Server Monitor a valuable tool for keeping a close watch on network infrastructure.
