Welcome to PA Server Monitor!
We'd like to introduce you to PA Server Monitor. It is Windows-based and on-premises. 😃
PA Server Monitor will monitor CPU, memory, disk space,
SNMP, Windows services, web pages, syslogs, etc. It monitors Windows, Linux and network devices.
See the list of monitors.
We focus on ease of use - you can get up and going quickly.
Similarities
- Distributed monitoring - remote monitoring engines (we call them Satellites) run monitors at remote sites and report back to your Central Server
- Dashboards - view everything on a single pane of glass
- Status Maps - place live status icons on custom map backgrounds
- Automatically scan the network to find new devices and add them for monitoring
- Monitoring templates make applying monitoring to devices simple and quick
- Default monitor templates will automatically configure much of the monitoring for you
- Alerts of all sorts - email, external web hook, pager, mobile app, etc. See various integration methods.
- Customizable reports to quickly see what is happening - at heirarchical group level or down to the device or monitor level
- We've been around for a long time (20+ years)

Differences
- Perpetual licenses are still available, as well as optional subscriptions for those who want them
- Continuous improvements
- Performance! Monitor the equivalent of 50,000 sensors without breaking a sweat (for example: 1000 devices, with 10 monitors each, with each monitor watching 5 drives,
or 10 performance counters, or 50 Windows services, etc). Some installations are much larger.
- Excellent support. This might be what customers love the most about us.
- Free ping. Any device that is only pinged does not count towards the license.
Go ahead and give it a try. The trial license supports 500 devices (devices, not sensors) for 30 days. We can extend the trial if needed.
We are happy to answer any questions you have.
