Uninstalling Power Admin Products

All Power Admin products install and uninstall like standard Windows products.

To uninstall, open Control Panel and go to Programs. Then locate the product name (PA Server Monitor, PA Storage Monitor, PA File Sight or PA WatchDISK) and choose the uninstall option.

Note, the products purposely leave configuration and database information after an install because a number of customers do an uninstall before an upgrade, and they are not happy to lose their configuration. So to completely remove all hints of the product, you should also:

• Delete all files in the product folder, which by default is one of:
  C:\Program Files (x86)\PA Server Monitor
  C:\Program Files (x86)\PA Storage Monitor
  C:\Program Files (x86)\PA File Sight
  C:\Program Files (x86)\PA WatchDISK
  
• Delete the product registry key which is under one of:
  HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\software\ (Wow6432Node if you have it) \PowerAdminServerMonitor
  HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\software\ (Wow6432Node if you have it) \PAStorageMonitor
  HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\software\ (Wow6432Node if you have it) \PAFileSight
